Yantra, like Mala, should be obtained from Guru, instead of doing everything on your own.
But since Hindus have forgotten, what it is to be a Hindu, we are giving the procedure on how to do Yantra Sanskar here for all Sadhakas.
- Get a Gold, silver, Parad or Tamba yantra from market based on your budget.
- Follow below procedure
- Get a tamba or peetal plate
- Wash yantra with Panchgavya keeping it in the plate
- Offer kumkum etc
- Wash it with Gangajal Again
- Chant below mantras as you do the sanskar
ॐ _____ (name of deity) नमः शुद्धोदक जलं समर्पयामि |
ॐ ___ (name of deity) नमः चन्दनं समर्पयामि |
ॐ ___ (name of deity) नमः सुगन्धिं समर्पयामि
ॐ ___ (name of deity) नमः कस्तूरी समर्पयामि
ॐ ___ (name of deity) नमः कुंकुम समर्पयामि
ॐ ____ (name of deity) नमः पंचामृतं समर्पयामि – 5 times
5. Now chant “hreem” beej mantra 108 times (one rosary) while touching yantra with ring finger or Kusha to invite goddess Mahamaya in the Yantra
6. Now chant “Hraum” beej mantra 108 times (one rosary) while touching yantra with ring finger or Kusha to invite Lord Shiva in the Yantra, thus opening the gates of this Universe, and connecting yantra with the Ishta Loka
7. Now chant “mantra” of the Ishta whom the yantra belongs to invite the Ishta into the Yantra , 108 times, one rosary
8. Then pickup yantra, clean it properly, throw away the water in plate. Now the yantra is energised.
9. Then chant this mantra 108 times
ॐ यंत्रराजाय विद्महे महायंत्राय धीमहि तन्नो यन्त्रः प्रचोदयात्
10. Then take Viniyoga – take water in your hand and chant below mantra
ॐ अस्य श्रीप्राणप्रतिष्ठा मंत्रस्य, ब्रह्मा विष्णु रुद्रा ऋषय: , ऋग्यजु:सामानि छन्दांसि , प्राणशक्तिदेवता , आं बीजं , ह्रीं शक्ति , क्रों इति किलकं , अस्मिन यन्त्र प्राणप्रतिष्ठापने जपे विनियोगः
11. Then do dishabandhana
चंडी दिकबन्धन
ॐ बज्र महाचंडी बंध बंध दश दिशो निरूढय
12. Then touch yantra with your ring finger or Kush grass and chant below mantra
ॐ आं ह्रीं क्रों यं रं लं वं शं षं सं हौं हंसः अमुकदेवतायाः प्राणा इह प्राणाः | ॐ आं ह्रीं क्रों यं रं लं वं शं षं सं हौं हंसः अमुकदेवतायाः जीव इह स्थितः | आं ह्रीं क्रों यं रं लं वं शं षं सं हं हंसः अमुकदेवतायाः सर्वेन्द्रयाणी |आं ह्रीं क्रों यं रं लं वं शं षं सं हं हंसः अमुकदेवतायाः वाङ् मनश्चक्षुः श्रोत्र जिह्वा घ्राण प्राणा इहागत्य सुखं चिरं तिष्ठन्तु स्वाहा
13. Then chant 11 Mala of Ishta mantra, and offer 108 ahuti hawan to the Ishta.
14. offer bhoga, and do atleast one stotra path of the Ishta
Congratulations, you have been proven cosmically cheap, and have done praan pratishtha of your yantra yourself bypassing your Guru. It will take few births from here to actually realising your spiritual goals as you are at a very basic level in your spiritual journey as this procedure is supposed to be done by a Guru, you giving them money which will help them in their own sadhana.
